Jason Nelson announced as Digital Writer in Residence at The Cube, QUT
Queensland University of Technology and the Australia Council for the Arts Literature Board have announced Jason Nelson as the second Digital Writer in Residence at The Cube.
The Cube is one of the world’s largest digital interactive learning and display spaces, and is part of the Science and Engineering Centre at Queensland University of Technology.
The Digital Writing Residency offers an opportunity for a writer working within the digital landscape to produce a new literary project specifically designed for the multi-user digital display environment of the Cube.
“A Digital Poet, Jason’s project will explore The Cube as a site for different forms of interaction and literary transformation through game interfaces. He will explore The Cube’s innovative technology as a site of play, of whimsy and wonderment, of unexpected surprise and engagement.” – QUT
